About Widick Diesel Service Inc

 

Widick Diesel Service Inc is not just another "DIESEL REPAIR SHOP" that only fix's your truck to get you running without taking the time to make sure you are safe. We are a full service diesel repair shop located 25 minutes NW of Omaha in Fremont Nebraska. We work on all makes and models of engines, from small diesel engines all the way up to the Big Rigs, we speak diesel engines! Whether your in need of a full engine overhaul, tune up service or performance add on's we can do it all! We are your diesel specialists with over 45yrs combined experience in the industry.

We are family owned and operated; Doug Widick (diesel guru) has been working on diesel engines since 1976 while his son in law Shawn Meyer has been working with diesel engines for the past 13 years.

Doug Widick opened his first shop in Las Vegas Nevada during the 80's and did not move his business here until 1999. In the summer of 1989 Doug's youngest 6yr old son was hit and killed by a semi truck just blocks from his home. The loss of his son was very devastating to him and his family but Doug also had to deal with that fact that his career and everyday life involved working with and on semi trucks, the same trucks that took his sons life. Doug made a life decision to continue working on diesel trucks in honor of his son, if he could make sure that they were fixed right and were safe on the road (mechanically) then maybe just maybe he could help prevent this from happening to another family. This dedication and service is what makes us who we are today. We miss you and love you Zachary!
